Cascara Tea
Cascara Tea
Dried Coffee Cherry Tea | 8 oz. | Tart, Fruity, Hibiscus
Cascara, a.k.a “husk,” “peel,” or “skin” in Spanish, is the dried shell of the coffee cherries. It is not quite coffee, but it is not exactly tea either. Maybe it’s the best of both worlds. Even the strongest brew of cascara tea only has 1/4 of the caffeine compared to that of coffee. Although cascara comes from coffee plant, it doesn’t taste anything like coffee. Its flavor profile is sweet and fruity, with notes of cherry, rose hips, hibiscus, and red currant. Drink it hot or enjoy it on ice. The opportunities are endless!
